A member of the Italian National Research Council and institute of Marine Science (ISMAR)  Walter contributed to the paper Fluoride and its affects of Water in Pedicille formation.    He has published many papers and has a specialty in evaluation fo toxicity of chemical substances through the performance of ecotoxicological tests by using invertebrate larvae.
